Review: Definitely worth the $ - I saw these fine liners used by Lindsay the fruglecrafter on YT- there’s a reason why we both purchased these sepia fine liners! I love these fine liners! They are just as good if not better than the well known brand I’m sure everyone know which one I’m talking about! I do not start a watercolor picture/wash on the picture without these pens! They definitely enhance my artwork & help me set an outline as to where I’m painting without it being smeared or mix into the paint like pencils normally do, changing the intensity of the pigment. If you’re interested or thinking about it, go ahead & buy them especially if you’re looking for sepia instead of getting a big set of various colors like me! They are well worth it & great price compared to other brands!

The brush-types are on the stiff side but make a varied line. They are (if they are, indeed, lightfast as stated) on par with Pitt and Sakura lightfast pens. One should note they have considerably less ink than Pitt pens because the barrel diameter is significantly smaller, but they feel nice in the hand and perform well... The smaller sized technical pens look visually to be very similar, but think of them as having multiples when you run out. It would be nice if they were sold individually, but at this price point, you can just buy a duplicate. Really happy with them. Note, I am a fine artist using mostly high-end, archival products, but always looking for a bargain.

**Q: are they permanent ink?**
A: Yes, also its water based, but water resist

**Q: do they have a container?**
A: Yes, they have. We pack two sets which are Black and Sepia sets together.

**Q: I need the finest point available to write on a grain of rice, will these work?**
A: I actually lived in Greece and one of the things they sold tourists was their name written on a single grain of rice, in English or Greek of course. It was incredible actually. They then placed it into a tiny little glass vial of color tinted water, and corked it and turned it into a necklace to wear the rice charm. I actually bought one and still since 1996, it is in perfect legible, original condition, never bled at all even. That said, I believe the smallest 005 pen would work perfectly for this purpose. However, I'm not sure if these are as waterproof and archival as the incredle pens used on my rice charm but I have no clue what that pen was back then. Lol Hope I helped and cleared things up for folks thinking it was insane to write on rice. 😊

**Q: For the "bianyo sepia pigment ink micro-pen fineliners, 9 assorted sizes" is the ink black or brown? it says  ink color: black; color: sepia, 9pcs ???**
A: My pens are brown and they write in brown color. I  hope this helps you.

These are better than my Sakura pens. The ink comes out smooth and dries fast. The markers are a great addition to things as well as the cheap pen case (a cheap pen case is better than no pen case)
