I needed this as a base layer for a cold hike in the mountains, and was pleasantly surprised 1. Thin enough but not too thin 2. No threads sticking out of the seams - seems well stiched 3. Super comfortable - does not make me itchy like some wool does 4. Very absorbent and quick drying - and does not smell at the end of a long day (or two) 5. Excellent colour (partial to yellow, and what a yellow this is!) 6. Bonus freebie of a pair of socks which are also great! Overall, happy with my purchase - seems durable, and first handwash didn't shrink it either.
