You can use our manual or installation video to ensure proper installation. **Q: Would you recommend taking this down between workouts or should it stay installed?** A: You certainly could take it down, but I personally would not unless you plan to use it rarely. The catch with this bar is that it stays in place by force and balance. By balance, I mean that there is a level on each end to make sure the bar is almost perfectly horizontal. If not, then one side will slide down over time. So, if you remove it, you will have to carefully set it up each time and make sure it is level. As I said, if you were going to use it every couple of weeks, you might be fine doing that. If you plan to use the bar multiple times a week, then it will get tedious. **Q: I am having trouble finding a bar that's safe to use for boys 6-8 years old. Is this one sturdy for their weight? The bar is designed with a combination of a 2mm outer steel pipe and a 1.5mm inner steel pipe. Please make sure your doorway or wall is strong enough for installation. Ceramic tiles, glass, or non-solid structures are not ideal surfaces to install the fitness bar. **Q: Will this damage the door frame or the woodwork?** A: This product will not damage the door frame. It has large pads that spread the pressure.
