Review: 3M sealer worked amazing after I restored the headlights! - I used the T-240KT Turtle Wax headlight restore kit on my 2003 Honda headlights. Worked AMAZING! It comes with 4 sanding pads and enough lubricant and finishing polish to probably do the headlights on 15 cars! Drawback? Only comes with one set of sealer. Meaning, meaning enough to seal 1 pair of headlights. That’s where this 3M sealant comes into play. I had just used the T-240KT Turtle Wax kit to restore the headlights on a 2011 Mazda3 Sport . Attached in this review are the before and after pics. But I needed a sealer and so I bought this 3M sealer. The headlights looked great before I used the sealer, but after wiping the headlights with this sealer……WOW! These 3M sealer wipes work GREAT! Headlights look BRAND NEW and are now protected.

**Q: I bought a new vehicle a month back could I use this as a preventative? It would save some elbow grease down the line.**
A: the life span of your brand new vehicle’s headlights should be a good 2-3 years before they begin yellowing. This clear coat will last close to that time as well so either way it will have to be done again down the line. Since your vehicle is new I would suggest getting your headlights ceramic coated, or buy the product and apply it yourself, it’s not too difficult. 

I highly recommend Adams Graphene coating. Great quality product that actually does it is supposed to do.

**Q: how many wipes does this come with?**
A: 40 Wipe packages in a box

**Q: Can these wipes be applied after doing any headlight restoration not just the 3M kit?**
A: I use them with the Turtle Wax kit, so I do not see why they will not work after any of the kits.  They just have some kind of UV protectant in them.

**Q: how often do you need to reapply?**
A: Any product made by 3M is going to do exactly what they say it is going to do. 3M is one of only two companies I can say this about.
Need for reapplication is going to be determined by initial quality of application, frequency of washing, exposure to sunlight, speed of driving in existing air quality and so on.
I applied it to mine, following the instructions, about 8 months ago. The vehicle is a 1998 model and the headlights were very yellow. Now, the yellow is gone and they look great.

If you are trying to clear up oxidized headlight lenses you absolutely need this or a similar product. After removing the top layer of oxidation, you need to apply this to get the lenses ABSOLUTELY clear. It's like a magic trick!
