A lot of people say only a sharpie, but a space pen is supposed to write on pretty much everything. Thanks!** A: A Space Pen will work. We used one in the waterproof test video for Expedition. **Q: will this paper stay intact/writable during prolonged underwater use? (scuba diving, snorkeling, etc?)** A: It will, the pages are made from polypropylene pellets so they have a plastic feel. ## Frequently Bought Together - Field Notes | Expedition Edition 3-Pack | Waterproof Notebook - Tintris Journal Cover for Field Notes Notebooks Moleskine Cahier 3.5 x 5.5 with zipper pen holder, Water Resistant Pocket Notebook Cover for Journal Notebook planner, Classy Waxed Canvas, Olive - Field Notes 2-Pack Pitch Black Notebooks (4.75" X 7.5"), Dot-graph, 64 Pages | Thin Pocket Sized EDC Notebook With 90 GSM Paper & Paperback Cover | Work Notebooks For Note Taking | Made in the USA --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ro/products/460875863-field-notes-memo-books-expedition-edition-pack-of-3](https://www.desertcart.ro/products/460875863-field-notes-memo-books-expedition-edition-pack-of-3) --- *Product available on Desertcart Romania* *Store origin: RO* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
