Helpful for Starters
After binge eating during the Holiday season, it's tough to talk yourself out of your normal eating habits and finally eat healthy. Coaxing myself that I need to eat vegetables, especially salad, is even more disheartening. I have no skills in cooking, and I'd rather eat noodles and canned goods than prepare my own food. And I must admit; I just don't have the time and interest in searching for recipes online. But after a while, seeing my waist expand; I knew I need to do something. I wanted to try eating salads, but I hate preparing all these hard-to-find ingredients just for one meal. This book is straight and simple, just like what it says from the title; all the recipes are easy to prepare. These are basic salad recipes, so if you're looking for something fancy and elaborate, this is not the book for you. I want it simple and I got it, so I rate this book 4 stars. My only suggestion is to have a calorie or nutrition guide for every recipe. It would definitely be helpful for calorie watchers like me, who tabulate their meals online or through fitness apps. A conversion guide for measurements would also be helpful, but then I can print out a copy of that from the net.

dissappointed
All the recipes had meat in them I hoped for at least a couple of vegetarian ones as the book is salads.
