If you’re buying it for the Gua Sha, you should look for a different product.The ice roller is a little tricky to open without cracking the ice in half - but if you are patient and run it under warm water, it should be just fine. The trick is to warm only the top half of the container so it will slide right off.So far I’ve used water and coffee in the ice roller, both are great! The frozen coffee is perfect for the mornings to help wake up your face and soothe any puffiness or swelling from sleeping. I’m excited to try one with aloe Vera this summer!I knew the Gua Sha wasn’t going to be the best quality - the advertisement even tells you that it’s not rose quartz. It’s just plastic.
