**Q: Can this be used with a katana 50 watt?**
A: I do not think this will work with the Katana 50. I believe it only works with the Kata Artist 100.
You can find the answer for sure on Boss's website.

**Q: Can other pedals be used along with the gafc?**
A: Yes.  This foot controller has its own Jack on the amp to control amp effects. Other pedals can be used in the effects loop or guitar input as normal.

**Q: Is this compatible with a MkII 50 amp?**
A: Only if it has GAFC jack on the back of the amplifier

**Q: Is the TRS cable included in this purchase?**
A: No cables are included. You would probably want to order cables to the proper length for your setup and make them 90 degree into the foot controller end. You will want to order dual 90 degree TRS cables if you plan to use the GA-FC EX in addition to a regular GA-FC. Dual controllers give even more control to your Katana-100 MkII or Artist MkII.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is THE Pedal Switch

Currently connected to the back of a Boss Gigcaster, this controls the different virtual effects banks for the Gigcaster 5 and Gigcaster 8. This ex version has the colored lights so it’s easy to see which effects bank you are in when switching around. If you connect a second one of these pedals to the back of the master pedal, you don’t need to switch to the second effects bank. The second pedal acts as the extended effects bank. Overall this is super functional, as I have access to tons of different effects, instead of using a messy and noisy pedalboard. Again, what I’m talking about applies to the Boss Gigcaster 5 and the Boss Gigcaster 8. I have not tried this on the Boss Katana. The pedal switch does come with a cable. Although you may want to purchase a longer cable if you intend to use this anywhere other than at the base of where your Gigcaster or amp is sitting. Very solidly constructed pedal. Like most Boss items, I expect this will always work if it is not smashed around, if the pedal goes through that kind of thing often. I would recommend getting a second, (or third and fourth) for traveling around if you are a touring musician. That way you are not bashing up your studio foot pedals. If you are planning on running your main effects through this, you will probably want your studio pedals working reliably. Without question. All metal pedal construction though, so the pedal should be able to take a normal level of abuse and keep working, if you needed it to.
