Anesthesiology Oral Board Flash Cards 1st Edition

Up to date, detailed, good instruction on how to best use these cards. These are amazing. I showed them to people at work and within a day at least 3 other people purchased them. These are just what I was looking for, and more! Be sure to read the Instruction manual when you get them.

Very good book for oral exam review. Excellent organization, up to date knowledge, outstanding format. Could be five stars with some additions e.g cards for Parkinson disease, Jehovah's witness patient. I would also prefer more concise considerations that are easier to recall and the current details in the considerations section to be placed at the back of the card.Excellent work, highly recommended for anyone preparing for ABA or FRCPC orals.

Great review system mix and match operative procedures, intraoperative complications, with patient comorbidities. Certainly helped me prepare for the oral boards.

The flash card design is nice and the majority of the cards have good info, but some of the cards have a purely British slant that is not how US grads are taught (some references are from Brittish texts as well).If you have extra CME money from work and you already have a couple other sources, this one is ok.

This one saved me in the boards. Has a lot of specific cases with specific managements, diagnoses and things to watch out for anesthesia wise.

I still in the first chapter but i feel this book will be a good stuff as a board oral exam reference.

I bought these cards about halfway through residency to get a jump on preparing for the oral boards (and mock orals!). These cards will definitely help with that. Overall, a good value, and will do what they claim.Pros:- well organized and consistent to help reinforce a way of *thinking* about each case- solidly made, will last a long time; sturdy storage box- nice selection of issues- cards are numbered and color-coded, with section indexes, to make it easy to find thingsCons:- most cards have little to nothing on the back side, so really this is mostly 150 single-sided cards- the cards a huge - a little bigger than 6x9 inches - bigger than I would have liked; still, they fit in a white coat pocket- the breadth and depth are appropriate for the ORAL boards, so don't plan on relying on them for WRITTEN board review
