Rubbish don't waste your money

The media could not be loaded.  This item is very easy to use and gives u good accuracy on cutting the glass bottles I would say that this is good value for money as u can do a few good DIY lights from ur old glass bottles something different 😉

Purchased this after seeing some people on internet doing the bottle to drinking glass thing, and wondered if it would be simple and effective, or whether it needed a lot more care.I found it easy to use and setup although it took a few goes before I found a working process. Initially I broke most of the bottles I tested with but now I have found my working process, I break very few.I haven't used them as the cut edges are too sharp. My next thing to do is to work out how to make the cut edges safer. You do get some sandpaper, but this wasn't that effective for me. I have however used them to cut the neck off bottles to make some plain vases, where the sharper edge is less of an issue.The main body isn't designed to be mounted on a bench, but I found it is more stable if it is secured onto a heavier block of wood.If you are looking to get into bottle art, this is one to go for, but be prepared to break more than a couple of bottles whilst you work out the process that works for you.

Does the job some of the time. Requires a lot of pressure to score the glass and doesn't like any bottle that isn't round.

I got this to help my wife as she does a lot of crafting. Although easy to set up my first attempt was not great. I watched a couple of videos to get some kind of Idea as to how much pressure you need to apply. My next attempt was a lot better although still not perfect. After trying over last couple of weeks I have a one good one not so good situation.I am determined to master it. Others might get it straight away and it's a great product if it's what you need. Recommended just make sure you watch videos for help and it will become easier.

I bought one of these sets awhile ago, maybe two or three years ago when I thought it would be a lovely idea to make glasses out of old beer bottles to gift to my husband.I failed miserably and ended up sending it back. I’m having flashbacks because this has gone the same way. It is not as easy as it looks. You need to be prepared to have patience and also you’ll need to make sure you use the right thickness of bottle and have your technique spot-on before you can get any of them to work. Very frustrating for me but I think if you know what you’re doing you could possibly make this to work for you. I failed and have admitted defeat.Next time I’m just going to take it to somebody who knows what they are doing and pay them to do it for me. Too much hassle and I haven’t got the time or patience for this. I don’t know why I thought I would have changed in two or three years! This set wasn’t even as good as the one I had purchased previously.

Ich habe gelesen, dass es beim Glas schneiden eine Lernkurve gibt, aber nach der Konsultation von mehreren Videos und Artikeln und der Zerstörung viel zu vieler Flaschen bin ich mir sicher, dass es nicht an mir liegt. Die Verarbeitung des Gerätes ist auch fragwürdig. Die Rollen verrutschen und das einstellen ist eine echte Qual. So ist es quasi unmöglich einen geraden gleichmäßigen Schnitt zu machen. Beim Wechselbad im Wasser lösen sich die Flaschengeister auch nicht einfach von einander sonder platzen bzw. explodieren meist in mehrere Teile. Zwischenzeitlich war ich echt dankbar so paranoid gewesen zu sein und eine Schutzbrille zu tragen, weil Glasscherben durch die ganze Küche flogen.

Ça a l'air simple et facile mais on tourne la bouteille au moins 50 fois pour espérer voir un trait et quand on le plonge dans les bassines d'eau froide et d'eau chaude ça ne fait rien ou ça explose la bouteille en morceaux. J'ai perdu mon temps et mon argent.
