Also it becomes more difficult to locate and extract a card if there are more than about 120. **Q: Does the lid clip on to keep securely closed?** A: Yes, you can close the lid. The box is good quality, strong, unbendable plastic with a glossy finish. It looks good. The lid sits open nicely while you look in the box, and closes easily, though it doesn't clip shut, so things would fall out if the closed box is turned upside down.Came with a good lot of thin card / thick paper white lined cards, and the full alphabet of index tabs. I've added another set of 3x5 cards, as there was plenty of space.The tab cards: Each letter has its own tab, though some uncommon letters (XYZ) are combined. Oddly and slightly annoyingly, there is a separate tab for "Mc" which means if you're using the cards for anything other than surnames, that tab is redundant; if you remove it then you have a tab "missing" out of the rainbow of tabs. For me it didn't make a huge difference as I'm not using the tabs for the alphabet, so I just turned the cards around so that the tabs are blank, and labelled that side.Overall, a good little box, and decent value for money, and looks as it does in the advert picture. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 29 January 2026* Excellent product.
