In my Freelander 2 I installed the relay and fuse in the battery box and ran the loom to the spotlights along to top of the radiator. I had to extend the loom by about 150mm to reach the drivers side light unit without placing undue stress on the wires. Other than that, all wires are the appropriate size and the terminals are well crimped.
