But this new microphone while not being a completely budget microphone is definitely worth the money. The software is phenomenal as well. If you're like me and your beginner at using studio type microphones, then this is a great entry point with good software to get you started. I don't really do any actual studio recording, but I play a lot of games and I got tired of my microphone sound like I was FDR telling people about Pearl harbor. It's a really small and heavy duty microphone. It's made out of solid metal except for the gain knob and the screws that hold it to the mount. Other than that it's fantastic. It has some weight to it so it feels nice and premium, and overall just a fantastic microphone. The sound quality is fantastic as well especially right out of the box before you do anything with the software. I also want to take note of their amazing customer service. The one that I got originally had a issue with the USBC port, I noticed it after my cats would rub their head on it It would just start disconnecting. So I just sent them an email and they were quick to respond and quick to just issue out a whole new product to me. I received a brand new microphone two days later and this one doesn't have an issue at all. Phenomenal customer service, and a phenomenal product for the money that you're paying.
