Review: Filofax Personal = Yes, A5 = No. - There are some very mixed reviews for this 6 hole punch, and I was a little nervous ordering it. It works brilliantly for my filofax personal. Adjust the slide to 'Personal', slide in upto 10 sheets, and it punches them with the six holes, quickly and efficiently. However, it doesn't work on my A5 organiser. The centre gap of the holes is 5cm, and on A5 it's 7cm. So this would just not fit the holes, and there's no possible adjustment. So, you are expected to punch top 3 holes followed by bottom 3 holes, and to be fair, I'd throw it in the bin. So, if you want it for Filofax Personal, please order it, it's perfect. Like me, you'll be a happy 5 star reviewer. However, if you are hoping the advertised A5 bit is true and the hundreds of peeved off reviewers were wrong, I'm afraid it's not the right product for you.

A: No, this model goes up to an A5 which is about the size of half of a regular sheet of typing/copy paper. The company may make a model that will work with legal sized paper.

A: It’s has 3 adjustable settings, for various sizes of planners. The # of holes it’ll punch is not adjustable, it’ll punch 6 holes every time.

**Q: Can someone please tell me the measured distance between the punches.  I received a diary/ planner and the holes are 3/4 inch apart 2 sets of 3 each.**
A: Hello,
I have a Rapesco adjustable puncher that has 2 sets of 3 holes. These 3 hole are approximatelly 1,9 cm appart from each other. Both sets of 3 are movable, so there are 3 possible positions between them. The puncher has the indications for: Pocket, mini and Timer 14 at position 1, for Agenda and A6 at position 2, and for A5, Personal, Compact, Slimline, Planner and Timer 17 & 21 at position 3. I hope I've been clear enough. Any question just ask.

**Q: Is this a one or two step process for A5?**
A: 2 step process. you have to flip it and the aligner not very large so you end up with not straight holes.

There are some very mixed reviews for this 6 hole punch, and I was a little nervous ordering it. It works brilliantly for my filofax personal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but has its flaws

The hole punch does what a hole punch should do: punch holes. However if you have the same 6 ring binder I have, as other reviewers stated, you need to set the page stop at A5, punch, then flip the page and punch that. The annoying thing is, when punching it at it's maximum distance, the holes are not too far off. All that having been said, it's not too much of a chore to have to flip a page, in this reviewers opinion. Be warned: the punches really don't like thicker materials than paper or thin card and can get themselves a little jammed. I tried adding a hole to a relatively thin binder pocket (it only needed one more), and one of the punches got stuck. With a little percussive maintenance, it righted itself. Though I guess I'm not exactly using it for its intended purpose.
