Review: Clear rear visibility, easy replacement - The Bosch Rear Wiper H 840 delivers consistently clean wipes with no streaking or squeaking. It restores rear windscreen visibility effectively, even in heavy rain, and feels like a noticeable upgrade over worn factory blades. Installation is straightforward and takes only a few minutes, with a secure fit once attached. The rubber blade moves smoothly across the glass and handles dirt and grime well without leaving smears. It’s not the cheapest option, but the build quality and reliable performance make it worth it. A solid replacement blade if you want dependable rear visibility in all weather conditions. Review: Good quality rear wiper blade that does the job - Good quality rear wiper blade that does the job This Bosch rear wiper blade was exactly what I needed for my 2018 Fiat 500. It was easy to fit straight out of the packet with no fuss and the length felt spot on. Being from a well-known brand gives a bit of confidence in the quality, and so far it’s been wiping cleanly with no streaking or skipping even in heavier rain. The price was nice too for a genuine Bosch part, and it feels sturdier than some of the cheaper alternatives I’ve had before. It’s early days, but it seems like it will last well through regular use and has already made a noticeable difference to rear visibility compared with the worn blade I replaced. ## Features - Safer driving: Made with innovative wiper rubber technology, Bosch Rear wipers are efficient, long-lasting and quiet - Quick and easy to install: Thanks to the pre-assembled adapter, the wiper blade can be mounted without expert assistance, saving you time and extra expenses - Compatibility matters: To enjoy a safe and smooth ride on the road, check your vehicle identification number and adhere to all restrictions to ensure the right fit - Scope of delivery: 1 rear wiper blade for back windscreen - Length: 290mm - Adapted to your car: Bosch blades are developed to match the specifications of your car, ensuring easy installation and good performance ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0031GUR6C | | Auto Part Position | Rear | | Auto part position | Rear | | Automotive Fit Type | Vehicle Specific Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | 279 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) 9 in Replacement Blades | | Brand | Bosch | | Brand Name | Bosch | | Colour | black | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Car | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 20,136 Reviews | | Fit Type | Vehicle Specific Fit | | Fit type | Vehicle Specific Fit | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04047023136787 | | Included Components | No | | Item Highlight | Excellent Cleaning Performance - Quick and Easy Installation on the Rear Windscreen - Vehicle-Specific Fit | | Item Length | 29 Centimetres | | Item Type Name | Bosch Windscreen wiper rear H840 | | Item Weight | 40 Grams | | Item length | 29 Centimetres | | Manufacturer | Bosch | | Manufacturer Part Number | H840 | | Material | Rubber | | Material Type | Rubber | | Model Number | H840 | | Mounting Type | Pinch Tab | | Number of Items | 1 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | 12 73 388-OPEL,12 73 388-VAUXHALL,155253667-FIAT,155253689-FIAT,1589122-FORD,16 073 830 80-CITROËN,16 164 337 80-PEUGEOT,16 351 559 80-CITROËN,16 351 559 80-PEUGEOT,16 351 564 80-PEUGEOT,16 712 112 80-CITROËN,16 712 113 80-CITROËN,16 712 113 80-PEUGEOT,16 898 231 80-PEUGEOT,1616433780-OPEL,1623235580-OPEL,1656159780-OPEL,1671211280-OPEL,169 820 07 45-MERCEDES BENZ,169 820 17 45-MERCEDES BENZ,169 8… | | Seasons | All | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Vehicle service type | Car | ## Product Details - **Auto part position:** Rear - **Brand:** Bosch - **Fit type:** Vehicle Specific Fit - **Material:** Rubber - **Vehicle service type:** Car ## Images ![Bosch Rear Wiper H 840-1 Replacement Blade for Rear Window - 290 mm - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61XIXHFjlGL.jpg) ![Bosch Rear Wiper H 840-1 Replacement Blade for Rear Window - 290 mm - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51ESkKwticL.jpg) ![Bosch Rear Wiper H 840-1 Replacement Blade for Rear Window - 290 mm - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61slavlDPrL.jpg) ![Bosch Rear Wiper H 840-1 Replacement Blade for Rear Window - 290 mm - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61aRy7PZtwL.jpg) ![Bosch Rear Wiper H 840-1 Replacement Blade for Rear Window - 290 mm - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71YnGfhy5OL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it fit a vauxhall astra estate 2002? Will be buying again when they eventually need replacing. ## Frequently Bought Together - BOSCH H840 Rear Wiper Blade; 11'' - Single - BMW 61612410957 Front Wiper Blade Set for i01 i3 - A-Premium 2-PC Cabin Air Filter with Activated Carbon Compatible with BMW X1 2016-2022, X2 2018-2022, i3 2014-2021, i3s 2018-2021 & Mini Cooper/Cooper Clubman 2016-2022, Cooper Countryman 2017-2022 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ro/products/48397199-bosch-rear-wiper-h-840-1-replacement-blade-for-rear](https://www.desertcart.ro/products/48397199-bosch-rear-wiper-h-840-1-replacement-blade-for-rear) --- *Product available on Desertcart Romania* *Store origin: RO* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
