Q: Is this case actually leather? Or is it a fake leather? Is it soft or slick and smooth? Thank you

I have 3 of the tan leather cases, and yes, they are real leather. I have 2 that hold 120 pencils, and one that holds 75 pencils. They're a great value for the money. I have extra room in the one larger one, and I've put markers in it, as I use markers for my coloring as well.The leather is smooth, and wears well.

The slots work well with any number of pencils. Each slot will hold up to four pencils, but the elastic bands seem well made and firm enough to carry a single pencil per slot. Hope this helps.
