However I am not sure if you should lie on it as it may burst the sealed edges,it really depends on your weight. However placing it over your buttocks lying on your front should be idea. I also suggest putting into freezer to make to coldness last longer. **Q: Is this true, does it stay flexible after being in the freezer? & whats the average time it stays cold for? Hoping it will stay cold for 1-2 hours min** A: This does not flex when frozen, it becomes hard and will not flex, waste of time and money. **Q: Why can I not return this item?** A: Because it's been in sustained direct contact with the flesh of your body. **Q: Just brought this pack and taken it out of the freezer (been in there overnight). It is as solid as a rock! is this normal ?** A: I've bought three of these. The standard size one absolutely fine - repeated uses (about 20), totally flexible each time. I bought the larger one at the same time but this one came out solid as a rock. The seller straight away sent me another and was ok (but still not as pliant as the standard size) for a couple of uses, then went to being solid out of the freezer. Then binned both the duff ones and 'let it go'. Obviously, must be a supplier issue with the gel filling - ask for a replacement. The one that works is great.
