Initially my PC didn't see the device until I changed the PCI slot I was using. Windows stated the device was using the "Texas Instruments" chipset, but I wasn't seeing any video via i.LINK. Following a very handy guide (Google "studio1productions firewire") I installed a legacy driver, and before I knew it, my Camcorder was picked up by Window 10. I used a copy of Sony Vegas Pro 11 to extract the clips (available on archive.org) but you can also use an application like WinDV. After that, it was just the process of playing all tapes and capturing the footage. Definitely worth the investment if you have an old Camcorder that has not been backed up yet - they're not getting any younger. I chose this card specifically for the low profile bracket so I could install it in a HP Prodesk SFF PC and had no problems with it whatsoever.
