The Greenworks 24V 12" trimmer is easy to use. I bought it for the angle-adjusting head. I have a steep bank to clear and the adjustability of the head is a great improvement over any previous trimmer that I have used. It is quick and powerful, and I found the auto-feed easy to use and effective. Good for ten minute jobs but definitely not for serious yard work. Battery powered weed eaters still have a long way to go before they are a viable option for gas. String advance doesn't work and you will use all of your battery up trying to their way. The batteries last no time in any case. Overall, I have gone back to gas and all I have is a seventy dollar wall decoration in my shop. We live and learn but it's expensive. Careful consideration is wise in this case. Piece of crap alert, big time
