Q: How do you set the temperature i have used the remote to increase the temperature to 31 it flashes then goes back to 18 and stays on 18 instead of 31

The temperature increases as the room gets hotter therefore put it to 31 and when it goes back to 18 leave it on and you will gradually see the temperature on the heater increase once it reaches the temp you have set it will go off, works very similar to you central heating thermostat.Hope that helps us

My electric is 33p per 1kw so to run it for an hour on the low setting would be 33p for an hour or 66p an hour on the higher setting.
