Resident Evil: Damnation (Blu-ray + UV Copy) [Region Free]

Great film. The animated films are good as they actually stick to the source material and follow the lore unlike the live action movies. It’s a must watch if your an old school resident evil fan of the games!

Another good resident evil film

Being a big Resident Evil fun I could not let this one out. I was not satisfied with the previous installment as I found the characters a bit lifeless the story childish and the monologues and conversations out of place. I did not have high hopes for this but unfortunately if Resident Evil is written on something I must own it :) So after watching the theatrical trailer I decided to give it a go since that was just great. Must say I did not regret buying this since I was blown away and I did not seen this coming. The animation, models, lightning, special effects and so on left me speechless. Much better than its predecessor. I would go as far to dare to compare it to Final fantasy advent children. It was worth getting this just for the visuals. The story: better than expected. Does have plot holes and a few problems as in don't expect a Golden Globe but its still highly enjoyable. When it comes to extras We don't get much to be honest but that's not why I bought it anyway. My only beef with this release is (and that's the reason for only 4 stars) it does not include 3d mode.... which is quite expected for a modern CGI I believe, and the thing is as I was watching it, it was very clear many moments that it was intended to be 3D. I watched the how it was made commentary as well where a 3D artist even lets us into the loop how they converted this into a 3D supported CGI...... so where the f.... is it????? My only guess we have to wait for a later release... so we are getting ripped of again:) All in all if you are not bothered with the lack of 3D support this will be a fantastic addition to your Re collection.

For some fans, like me, the RE live action films are considered atrocities and should be skipped altogether. Luckily, Capcom decided to make things right by following the storyline in the CG films and this second is one fine example. The plot might be a little too murky but hey, it's Resident Evil and all the goodies are there. Old but very well known characters that we all love, awesome CG animated scenes and zombie/B.O.W. action all the way. If you liked Degeneration, you'll love Damnation!

This is an amazing film for any resident evil fan, has amazing effects and sound quality. If haven't played the games or watched any of the other movies you won't get the references in this film so you may not enjoy it as much as other fans. It also gives you a clue to what will happen in resident evil 6.

Resident Evil brings us it's second CGI film and does not disapoint. The graphics have greatly imporoved since Degeneration and the plot is very good. Leon is back but this time we see Ada Wong. She's up to her old tricks again!Add to this some big BOW on BOW fighting, this makes a great movie!

What can I say?This movie is great,much better then previous CG movie from capcom.-Good looking CG-Much better dialogues and animations-Design (locations are interesting)-lovable lickers in full action-Tyrents-Enemies(most likely Ganados) are zombie alike.Thought story wasn't that great but overal I recomend it to any resident evil fan!

I bought this DVD because I am a huge fan of the Resident Evil franchise. The film is amazing, definitely my favourite of the three they've made.

I finally have one of my favorite movies,fortunately it arrived in one piece, 100% recommended!
