They carefully word their policy to read something like, "...L'Oreal does not test on animals". However, they have other agencies test their products out on animals for them. Shame on them. I will not buy anything L'Oreal for this reason. **Q: I use to use dark ash blonde with highlights and it was perfect. i fear one shade down will be too dark and one shade up too light. suggestions?** A: When experimenting with new color always use a few pieces of hair to test results. **Q: I just used this 2 days ago and it is fantastic; I was a little shy with the highlighting; can I go repeat the highlighting process again?** A: Not with the open/left over chemicals and not on the same hair you highlighted. If you decide to do it, I would get a new kit and highlight hair that wasn't previously bleached with the highlighting part of the kit so it isnt damaged further. I loved this kit as well and just highlighted more each time I dyed every 6 weeks or so. I have taken a break after about 6 months of using the kit bc some of my hair that I always highlighted, like by my face, started to break. Just be careful with over processing. **Q: Why did my highlights using 8.2 turn out brassy, not light blonde? I colored over gray/white hair.** A: Hi there!
