Review: Works brilliantly - Let’s start with the positives - and why I give it 5 stars. If you have a flea problem you can tell by the sticky and, if you don’t? Well there’s nothing to see. You may still have to flea treat as not all the fleas would be so helpful to jump on the sticky - and they ARE sticky. Negatives are that they will catch anything and everything. I’ve had to put spiders and bees out of their misery and once had to pull a mouse off which did survive to tell the tale. One of the cats also had to one pulled off its rear end. The main negative is the legs on these things regardless of which brand they’re sold under. The bits on the ends are hopeless as they bend or break so easily. I’ve bought more units simply because the legs on the current ones are wrecked. There’s nothing else to go wrong except replacement bulbs and stickies. PLEASE someone sell spare legs for them!

Put of the two bulbs that did work one blew after 12 hours and shattered all over . The bulbs take a lot of force to plug into the pendent . Cheap and low quality plastic one of the plastic parts snapped when trying to put together . I'd definitely go with something else .

**Q: how long do the bulbs last? last**
A: I've had it on for 2 weeks every night - over night. I'm sure there arent any little fleas now but it is a precaution I'm willing to take! Bulb is still going.

**Q: Bulb was blown on arrival. A way to get a replacement without returning?**
A: I'm not sure ,  best to contact the seller

**Q: Once turned on how long do I need to use it for 1 day or a few**
A: I have two. One in bedroom and one in lounge. Have had them on day and night for 2 weeks. Approx 100 - 120 fleas in each trap.  House and both cats were hopping (even though cats had been "done" a couple of times with Frontline). I had loads of flea-bites myself, and was desperate. Have also used spray round carpets/bedclothes etc.  But keeping the traps on as long as ever possible.  My electrical engineer friend tells me they use hardly any electric, so no expense there.

**Q: Does this work with other insects like mosquitoes and flys? I'm living at college doing countryside work and I tend to bring in a lot of bugs**
A: Hi yes it does ,flies ex go on. My husband did an experiment with catching insects with o u and used a similar decide but put a net sound ot too. To catch some live,as there attracted to the light if you leave window open at night x

We bought 2 of these because we have 10 cats and I was always getting flea bites during the warmer months. The number of fleas these things catch is amazing. We change the sticky pads every couple of months and they're nearly always full all year round. We have one under our bed and one in the living room. One thing to be aware of. Don't expect the bulbs to last very long. I'd suggest you order some spares because they tend to blow when you turn it off to replace the sticky pads, if not before.
