However it doesn't hold the wifi signal. This results in disconnection which defeats the purpose of the item. You have to plug it back in. Maybe Someone at D-link can explain why. I have seem many similar comments on D-Link cameras and smart plug from other people online. Nothing in the troubleshoot section resolves the issue. I have other cameras and wifi devices in the house from other brands and this is the only on that doesn't hold wifi. Set-up were similar nothing for me to set-up in my router so I can only conclude the camera is the problem not the router. I will point out that I used the device app to set-up but use it with a NAS as part of a surveillance system.
