Personally I think it would be dangerous to use it in an oil based hydraulic system. **Q: How do you get this dye into the ac system?** A: Two ways 1. On a empty system draw a vacuum on both sides of the system then disconnect high side hose and feed in the oil and dye. 2. Use the injection tool (basically a syringe ) Inject into the lie side with the compressor running The compressor will draw it into the system **Q: any chance to have a Safety Data Sheet For this product please** A: I don't have one as it went to my mechanic. **Q: How does the dye get into the ac system** A: After vacuuming system and before regassing. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works *by P***S on 27 December 2025* It's bright ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Errocom *by A***R on 30 August 2026* Simple to use not had a leak yet but it shows up with the infrared light good price thank you ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value *by C***' on 24 July 2026* Not used it yet but suppose to the dogs for finding leaks ## Frequently Bought Together - Errecom Brilliant - Fluorescent UV Dye for Detecting Refrigerant Gas Leaks in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems - REALHUNLEE Air Conditioner UV Dye Leak Detector, Pro Auto Oil AC UV Dye Leak Test Detection Tool Kit 68 LED A/C UV Flashlight Detector with Protective Glasses - Lichamp AC Oil Injector R134A, R1234YF Refrigerant A/C Dye Injector Kit with Adjustable Coupler and Oil Checkers --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ro/products/49733406-errecom-brilliant-250-ml-fluorescent-uv-dye-for-detecting-refrigerant](https://www.desertcart.ro/products/49733406-errecom-brilliant-250-ml-fluorescent-uv-dye-for-detecting-refrigerant) --- *Product available on Desertcart Romania* *Store origin: RO* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
