State Property [2002] [DVD]

One of the better gang movies that I have seen, that has been made in the 21st century. The acting is good considering that most of the cast have probably never acted before this movie and the story is inspired by a real gang called JBM ( Junior Black Mafia ). This movie is very entertaining and has something happening all throughout. The only down side to this movie is that you do not really see the bullet holes appear until after they are dead and lying on the ground. 9/10

Looked high and low for this as someone stole my copy have to say not as same as original as some bits are cut out

This film is embarrassing to watch, it's like a train wreck, you know you shouldn't keep looking at it but you do. No plot, lots of gratuitous naked women, and non stop African Americans, not one of whom has a steady job, they are all drug dealers to a man, armed to the teeth with guns and shooting people down with impunity. It makes you wonder who is buying the drugs, as everyone in the film is selling themAs for acting, the last time I saw performances like this I was watching the Muppet Treasure Island, the only difference being that Kermit was believableBy all means watch it, but switch you brain out, be prepared for racist stereotypes and have a good laugh at the end with the unbelievably bad unbelievable ending.

Great film very real and good acting too.

To put it simple this film is so bad that you should watch it, think of it as the really bad street fighter film so bad it's brialliant.the boys at the roc can't act and this is more of a milking of the franchise, as far as i am concerned the only member of rocafella at that time who could act was Cam'ron and he is not in this film.Jay-z is not seen much in this film so Jigga fans won't be to happy.the story line is a rags to ghetto riches and is predictable but what is not these days?Get the film for the old school Rocafella feel and laughs at truly bad acting, this is one of those £3.00 films not worth anything more.
