**Q: Can you help me choose between the 6 and 8?**
A: I bought the 6 earlier this year, and have not used the 8. Having read the manual that covers both, the biggest difference is that with the 8 the programs are more automated. The 6 requires you to manually adjust the intensities during the program, with the 8 it is all done automatically. The adjustment on the 6 is done from prompts on the screen "adjust intensity to your maximum" the problem is there is no suggested maximum and it appears to be based on your discomfort threshold (I could be missing something). The adjustments are made by the unit with the 8, and I assume it is more scientifically based. Other than that, no major differences, the 8 has a few more programs (look on the complex site to see if you need them)

**Q: Difference between fit 5.0 & sp 6.0?seem to be similar apart from one is black & other blue?Need to regain quad muscle strength due to muscle wastage**

**Q: Because of a lower back injury in 2015 much of the top half of my left leg is semi-numb. Might this machine help?**
A: Hello, We cant advise the use of electrical stimulators or Tens machines on numb areas. 
Unfortunately, there is no evidence that these machines improve sensation. They are designed to stimulate muscle contraction and/ or provide pain relief. I hope that this helps.

**Q: does this come with a soft case to carry it in?**
A: Yes it comes with a case that holds the electrodes, controller and 'sticky pads'

### ⭐⭐⭐ Unsure as to what the effects are ... and that's the Physio ....

I bought this on the advice of a Physiotherapist and having damaged my knee. I user the muscle Atrophy setting to treat the leg/knee that I hurt. I've hurt this knee/leg before and it took several months to heal. When I hurt it this time I did everything right, went private, had an xray, MRI, Physio, consultant ... the whole 9 yards and I've noticed .... nothing. No difference of when I healed naturally and this time with lots of Physio work and this electro-stimulation of my leg. It's been 4 weeks now and I honestly have not seen any difference in my progress. Very disappointing. My leg muscle twitch like crazy and everything tingles and vibrates and it LOOKS like things are happening but ... nope. I think it might be the same thing as trying to heal an eye defect by blinking a lot. I think maybe the exercises strengthen the muscles to protect them but whether this actually does anything even the Physio wouldn't swear to it saying simply Russian gymnasts had used the machines and reportedly suffered 5 % less injuries ?!?!? Maybe I need to try a different version of something as it's unclear as to how high i should have the setting on this.
