Would have thought you could possibly use them in conjunction, though cannot see what the point of that would be. **Q: I bite my nails and now they are growing they break easy, so would this help strengthen them as they grow** A: Yes I believe so, I bit my nails for about 20 years and they were thin when I allowed them to grow. This will make them less brittle and then I noticed my nails becoming thicker after growing out for a cycle or 2 **Q: Does this soak into the nail or leave a layer of nail varnish?** A: It soaks into the nail leaving no trace. It is excellent for strengthening nails along with OPI nail strengthener 2 coats on top . **Q: Is this meant to smell absolutely awful? I either have one out of a bad batch/out of date or it’s just meant to smell absolutely awful!?** A: It does smell a bit but once it dries on your nails it’s fine.
