Winter requires sweaters and scarves but this also results in accidentally flicking an earring off. I invested in a set of Lox earring backs but managed to lose one of those. These little backs seem to have a hole small enough for thin wires. I haven't really mastered sliding them on smoothly but a bit of fiddling is needed and I have squeezed them on too tightly which was uncomfortable. But they do seem quite secure which is what I was looking for.
