The parts are probably available from the manufacturer if you still have the book, or can find it online. This is a well-made tool and frankly if it has worn out from use I would just buy another. **Q: What is the load strength?** A: If you do two straps one on each end around 1500lbs but use three means one in the middle you can balance your weight better up to dbl. **Q: Can this be used with plastic buckles?** A: Plastic buckles are considered low tension. I use metal buckles and this tensioner pulls them very tight.
