Also delivery was faster than expected and via a good courier. I’d only like to mention the speakers I received are clearly US/Canada and my bf had to rush to the shop to get a plug converter as they have a USA plug, but it was a very minor inconvenience :) online warranty registration went smoothly too

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How is the bass with these speakers?  Most of my music wouldn't require much, but I do like the occasional gangster rap album.**
A: I just set up a pair sourced by a Victrola unit that I picked up for convenience in my second parlor. The Victrola has modest and uneventful sound. These speakers changed everything. 
The room is 15’x25’ with 9’ ceiling and exposed  historic 3x 8 floor joists every 20”. 
Playing cd’s I am now getting concert hall sound with surprising base. I have them playing moderately loud, but not head banging loud. 
They are much more than I expected and certainly for the price. 
I highly recommend if you want good sound on a budget and are not wanting as party speakers.

**Q: Does the front plate come off?**
A: There’s a picture showing that the front plate comes off.

**Q: Will they work well as TV/home theater speakers?**
A: They could. These speakers accept RCA inputs (the round red and white connecrors) , so as long as your TV or device outputs to an RCA connection, you can use these speakers. They also come with a 3.5mm adapter so you could connect a mobile phone, tablet, pc or similar device. If you already have a stereo system and are looking for speakers for it, these are not the best option. These speakers have a built in amp, and the right speaker doesn't accept standard speaker connections as input.

**Q: Are these speakers bluetooth?**
A: This particular model  of the R1280 series - the R1280T - does not have Bluetooth. But Edifier makes several different models of R1280's, and one of them - the R1280DBs - does have Bluetooth. ZDNet recommended it as their "best value" computer speakers.

Excelentes altavoces. Suenan mejor que los m60 por el simple hecho de ser cableados. Son muy buenos altavoces de entrada para el hifi, los puedes conectar a un Dac para sacarle el máximo provecho e igual con archivos hires como los flac. A mi parecer tienen los graves un poco altos pero puedes ajustar los graves y agudos en los propios altavoces ya que traen sus perillas de frecuencias. El único punto que mejoraría es el control. Ya que no hay alguna forma de cambiar la canción(la siguiente o la anterior) solo hay botones para silenciar, subir y bajar el volumen. Sin embargo, hay veces que no responde al presionar el botón. Dejando de lado eso muy buenos altavoces, diría que no hay algunos mejores por el precio
