I have heavy equipment and use this charger to maintain a large 12v battery throughout the year. The charger is exposed to rain and I've had it in use for about a year. No problems. I like that is comes with quick connect charging plugs (along with the big alligator type).

This is a nice, easy to use charger. It worked great for recharging a seldom used marine battery.

This works great charging our trolling motor. Light, easy and fast!

Does it's job well.

1. While charging, gets pretty hot (90F?), then cools down2. Based on time it took to charge a mostly charged battery, it's way less than 5 Amp. In my case, it's not that important - I have a couple of powerful chargers that I use to CHARGE, and need this just to maintain the battery but it's something to keep in mind.

Bought this in April with the positive reviews. Used to charge battery for pontoon and now it is August and just outside of the return windows and it is dead. Plug it in and nothing happens now. That's a very short life, was not a good purchase.
