The exit lights themselves are bright and the emergency lighting is ok but could be brighter. The plastic bodies of these lights are somewhat flimsy to me, and I broke three of the emergency lights little tabs that hold the lights onto the body while being very careful assembling them. Also, like most other manufacturers, the backup emergency lighting battery is nickel cadmium and are not very high quality.
