I just finished reading this wonderful book! Right from the very beginning my attention was intrigued and captivated by the unfoldment of almost fairy-tale like events of this fascinating story. Mira Prabhu equipped with rich vocabulary and spiritual knowledge of Yoga and Tantra masterfully takes you on a roller-coaster of events and emotions through the growing darkness of demonic possessions towards the Spiritual Maturation and blossoming into the final ecstasy of 'Moksha' (Liberation). Book is filled with the highly erotic spirituality and highest wisdom! I hope that one day a great director will create a film based on this amazing book. I highly recommend to everyone to read this masterpiece! My humble pranam to Mira Prabhu for the Joy she bestow through her wonderful writings š š¹ ā„

Wonderful!
I recently read Mira Prabhuās first novel in the Moksha Trilogy, Whip of the Wild God: A novel of Tantra in Ancient India. What can I say? I was both transfixed and horrified, not wanting to read another line and yet unable to put it down. I found it beautiful and inspiring beyond words and was moved to the core by the deep spiritual undertone. What a wonderful story and how uplifting! I loved the way the Tantric, Advaitic and life teachings were woven throughout the story and fell deeply in love with Ishvariā¦. How could I not! It is a book that will stay with me, which sunk deep!

This was such a good read; a real page-turner
This was such a good read; a real page-turner. It is a wonderful story, touching on human frailty, reality, truth and love and I didn't want the story to end. Jewels of wisdom sparkle throughout. The beautiful descriptions really brought the story to life and I sometimes joyously felt I was there, actually witnessing the events as they unfolded. Highly recommended to both spiritual seekers and good-story-seekers alike!

An amazing spirtual journey, I didn't want the story to end
An amazing emotional journey following the life of Ishvari, a young girl taken from her family and destined for greater things. At times the story was harsh but always with a loving lesson at the end. The story took into account many of life's distractions or disturbances and the author presented these in an innovative and interesting way. I loved the different relationships Ishvari had with the monks, her family and friends, and the animals. Her story made me cry at times but also made me grateful for the path I am on and sangha I have around me. I hope Mira has a second book in the making.
