**Q: There are no fitting instructions within the packaging. Please advise on how to fit. Thanks**
A: I bought one of those, never got to use it, not because it wasn't any or couldn't fit. Just used an other design. Although there are no instructions, with a bit of thought it's not difficult to fit. Can't attach a diagram here, I'd draw a picture if I could. Good luck.

**Q: Can it hold 25 kg I got hatch door with Wooden ladder built in top of hatch thanks**
A: i don't think this catch is suitable to hold heavy weights

**Q: My loft hatch has a folded ladder on it. Will your catch take the weight?**
A: Should be OK if you use two as I did. Obviously depends upon the weight. I don't have to support the ladder on the loft hatch, on the other hand I do have a large and heavy hatch.

**Q: would this hold open a garden gate?**
A: I doubt it. A moderately gusting wind might cause unwanted release of the catch.
