## Description

Primer should form an essential part of painting your car. Without it, the topcoat is unlikely to give the finish that you want because of the surface that you’re painting on. The surface may be uneven, rusty or has poor adhesive qualities. Either way, primer can help solve these problems.Hammerite Special Metals Primer is water based to promote adhesion to stainless steel and non-ferrous metals, including galvanised, aluminium, chrome, brass and copper. Applying it will also provide a smooth even finish for you to apply a topcoat, whilst being quick drying (it will be touch dry in 30 minutes and can be overcoated after only 30 minutes). It also gives long lasting protection and can be used inside and out. Comes in red in a 250ml tin.The Hammerite range is designed to protect metalwork from humidity, rain and rust.

**Q: can this be sprayed**
A: I personaly wouldn,t like to try it because it,s a very thick consistency paint and would most likely block your spray gun.

**Q: Can I use this on a radiator?**
A: For me the answer would be yes. I would however rub down the radiator with a fine sandpaper first to ensure best adhesion thereby avoiding flaking when the radiator is at maximum temperature.

**Q: can you get it in grey?**
A: Yes you can from amazon

**Q: Is this ok on lead?**
A: Yes it should be OK on any metal as long as it,s clean.
