SalomonMen's Sense Ride 4 Road Running Shoe

Brilliant shoes for me personally! I came to Salomon after trying all the leading brands. And then never looked back. Sense Ride4 lived completely up to the expectations. Being a narrow shoe, it took a little bit of time to adapt to my wide feet. But now it feels like walking in the clouds! It’s only the lower grip that is a little thin as compare to other hiking shoes like XA3D pro but I guess it’s obvious that such a thick sole will defeat the purpose of a running shoe!

A very snug fit and extremely comfortable - absorbs impact well while running on asphalt roads. Can't stop running!

Very comfortable but it might be hard to find an optimal fit since this size is a tiny bit large but a size down would be tight. Just used it for a month so far and can't comment on the wear although a friend's shoe is tearing along the fabric. I'm a bit worried about the availability of Salomon branded laces if these were to get damaged. Also I'm not too confident on their performance on wet rocks. Overall so far I'm quite satisfied

I bought it for my husbands birthday and he loved it. This is my husbands favourite brand in walking shoes . The comfort is amazing. Looks awesome. Go ahead n buy it

Good shoes

The shoe makes a cracking noise when its bent near the toe. Never felt like an original shoe and i realized there are multiple reviews with the same complaint, can't imagine how Salomon has mass produced this.Complete waste of my money as i can't use it now

I received these in a package that looked like it had been taped together. When I opened the box, the shoes were CLEARLY a return with the tag cut off and scuff marks on the sides and bottom. Also, the shoe made a clicking sound with every step. I contacted Amazon to tell them I was send used shoes & that I shouldn't have to pay full price. Amazon told me to keep the shoes & returned my money.Now, maybe because they were free I decided to abuse them. And abuse I did. I was shocked by the performance, especially after reading some reviews.First, this thing has GRIP. Wow. I've been using Nike Pegasus trail runners for a few years and they're great but the grip is ridiculous, even dangerous. They slip on wet stone. But the Ride 4 has so much grip that I tried to clean them off on the Welcome mat at my home and the shoes got stuck and wouldn't budge. That's how much grip there is.Second, some complain about the lace scheme breaking. I don't even know why anyone needs to tighten these shoes. If you get the right size, once your foot is inside, you shouldn't ever have to tighten them. They're not coming off your feet unless you're a size 10 who HAS TO buy a 12 for some reason. I've put these on and taken them off multiple times without ever needing to tighten up.Third, though this shoe doesn't mention water resistance, it's relatively good at that too. I've run through puddles without my feet getting wet.Fourth, and maybe the most important is the toe space. I've had shoes that were so tight that it caused ridiculous rubbing, causing burns and cuts on my toes. Not these. So much space. Perfect amount. I can practically split my toes apart while wearing this shoe.This may be the best trail runners I've ever owned.

The only gripe is sizing, for some reason they are much spacier at the front than the old models. I usually go for 10.5. Went for 10 and there is still plenty of space. Love the sole - not to soft and lace system.
