The idea of a lock that puts your finger in the path of the blade when you start to close it has never seemed very smart to me. However, this one works so well, that I actually like it on this knife. That is saying a lot for me about how impressed I am with this knife, particularly since it is so sharp, I used it to slice up the receipt from my dinner right out of the box. Even as I sit here doing this review, I can’t stop fidgeting with this knife. It is so sweet, I guess I’ll just have to be careful and enjoy this knife the way it is. I saw some of the other reviews where some people had problems with corrosion on the blades of this knives D2 steel. Thanks to these reviews, I’ve already put a thin coat of quality gun oil on its blade and moving parts. Time will tell how corrosion resistant and durable this knife proves to be.
