Even the wood piece on top isn't too heavy that it's "top-heavy" & good storage space on top too. Easy to wipe down after assembly before putting items in drawers. & assembly was super easy. I put it together fairly quickly while being 8 months pregnant. All pieces came accounted for with tools to set it up.
