Review: Breaks waste down well but doesn’t help smells - We use this in our cassette toilet for both number 1 and 2. After a couple of uses it stinks every time we open the lid, even when it’s hardly full. I’ve even tried using 2 sachets but it’s just no good. Will be trying another brand next time since this just doesn’t cut it. The only positives are the convenience of the sachet and it does break the waste down quite well. Unfortunately the smell is just too big of an issue. We’ve even tried just with number 1 but it still smells bad, not like other brands we’ve tried.

**Q: Could this be used in a 5 gal bucket during camping?**
A: I have a 5 gallon camp toilet. I put one pod in a glass mason jar filled with water. The jar has measuring lines on side. I use 1/4 of jar at a time. According to directions, one pod for 40 gallons. My system makes 10 gallon servings. Still much for my 5 gallon tank, but better on wallet and environment.  Very effective at this proportion.

**Q: what is the scent? Is it over poewering or lightly scented?**
A: A "fresh scent" without over powering.  Great scent to accommodate with any holding tank

**Q: Am i suppose to drop one in when it is full and right before I dump the waste or drop one in as the waste is building or when it's empty?**
A: Dump a new packet into the tank, with a little water, immediately after you empty it.  Then, the product will work to deoderize the waste water as it accumulates.

**Q: Does this really help break down non-RV toilet paper? This is for my 5th wheel camper.**
A: A few years ago (5-7?)I watched an informative youtube video made by a young RVer couple to perform a disintegration test of the expensive "RV Toilet Paper" versus a few top name brands and Walmart's "Great Value Ultra Strong 2 ply toilet paper" that states "safe for septic tanks". The Walmart brand disintegrated better than any other brand including the expensive "RV Toilet Paper" and for a LOT less money! 👍 I have been using the Walmart TP ever since with no problems. And I have used Walex Bio Pak in my 5th wheel black water tank since about 2015 or 2016 (and every 2-3 years use a load of Walex Commando but follow the directions VERY CAREFULLY).

We use this in our cassette toilet for both number 1 and 2. After a couple of uses it stinks every time we open the lid, even when it’s hardly full. I’ve even tried using 2 sachets but it’s just no good. Will be trying another brand next time since this just doesn’t cut it. The only positives are the convenience of the sachet and it does break the waste down quite well. Unfortunately the smell is just too big of an issue.
