A 'must-have' for food security in uncertain times!
I recently purchased the "One Week Kit" from Heaven's Harvest, and I've been nothing short of impressed. In the current unpredictable climate, having a reliable source of food security is paramount, and this kit delivers just that.Packaging & Delivery: The product was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. The packaging is both sturdy and secure, making it easy to store. I especially appreciate the bucket design, which allows for convenient stacking if you have multiple kits.Variety & Taste: The variety of food items in this kit is commendable, earning a 9 out of 10 from me. Even more surprising was the taste—it exceeded my expectations, making the thought of relying on this in an emergency far more palatable.Preparation & Shelf Life: The instructions are clear and straightforward. While warm or hot water is recommended for preparation, it's not a strict necessity. A standout feature is the impressive 25-year shelf life, ensuring long-term peace of mind.Value & Quality: This kit offers the best value for the number of servings on Amazon. The quality is top-notch, and I'd rate it a solid 5 out of 5.Customer Service: I had some questions before making my purchase and had the pleasure of speaking with Jen from Heaven's Harvest. Her excellent customer service further solidified my confidence in the product and the company. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Heaven's Harvest "One Week Kit" to anyone looking for food security. It's a reliable, high-quality product backed by a company that genuinely cares about its customers.

Have if we need
This is a great value and I love that it comes in an airtight container. Not sure about the taste as we’re hoping not to need it but everything looks good quality and is packaged well.

THESE ARE NOT MRE'S BUT BULK PACKAGES
Initially, I thought I was buying separate MRE's. I made a mistake in reading the product description. When it arrived, I opened it up to find bulk packages of individual plate meals. It's still GREAT! EXCELLENT for emergencies. The food is dehydrated and requires adding water for cooking over heat but EXCELLENT to have in an emergency. I recommend NOT opening the seal of the bucket until you actually are ready to use - it in case your storage area floods, you have extra protection against mold inside the bucket. Not to worry if you do open it though. The bucket seals good and the individual food packages are perfectly sealed. This is an excellent buy if you live in flood zones/power outage issue areas and you have a secure storage area where water can't carry your food away. Recommend storing on shelf over 4ft high. Great if you have a large family to feed.

A fantastic product for survival or occasional use
Just received our Heaven's Harvest survival food kit. Opened the bucket and everything was there, in tight packaging, ready for use. We wanted to save this for possible dire circumstances but decided to try the pasta Alfredo. It was surprisingly delicious and easy to prepare. This product is well worth the money and it gives you peace of mind for future problems. I will be ordering more for my family.Steve Barns

Really Pleased
This food reserve seems to be a really good value; just the thing if you want to prepare for bad times or emergencies. Surprised it was only $100. Packaging is outstanding and label contains good detail of the contents. 25+ year shelf life means I can put this aside for a longtime and it will be there whenever I need it. We've not tasted the contents yet (because it is for emergencies), but the meals described should be just what are needed in such circumstances.

Packed well, food is all right, value could be better
Since I received this bucket for review, I actually cracked it open and tried the five types of food inside. Here's a quick review of the food before I get into other considerations:-Mac & cheese: very creamy but not much cheese flavor, overall okay. Adding salt makes it better.-Pasta alfredo: it was all right too, flavor was pretty good for freeze dried food. Needed salt and calls for butter, which you may not have in a true emergency.-Multi-grain cereal: No flavor at all, tastes like plain grains even though there's a bit of added sugar. Not exciting in the least.-Potato soup: slightly sparse soup, but actually pretty good. It's hard to mess up a warm creamy soup. Adding some of your own vegetables would of course improve it.-Orange drink: essentially pure sugar. Tastes good, of course, but it's empty calories. From what I can tell it's not even packing extra vitamins, you'd be better off with Tang instead. Now that that's covered, is this bucket a good deal? When you're looking at buckets like this, forget the "servings" number on the side, it's basically meaningless. Net weight is 5lbs and 11.64oz. You're getting 10,140 calories total, 7500 from food and 2640 from drink mix.So 73% of your calories are coming from food, and 27% are coming from essentially two giant sugar packets. Most companies that sell freeze dried food include drink mixes but I like to see a better percentage of food than that, some of the other buckets I have are split 82%/18% (with some of that 18% being more nutritious to boot) and I find that more acceptable. In terms of calories per dollar for freeze dried food, there are better deals out there, sometimes much better, especially if you're a Costco member. I paid $100/bucket not long ago for 13lb buckets with 25,000+ calories, a higher percentage of actual food vs drink mix and better protein content. So is this worth $99? At the time of writing, to me, it isn't. It's not bad food but I think it's not really matching up to the competition in terms of value.
