Do you simply crack an egg close the lid or does the lid need to be open? Tia** A: We always closed the lid. **Q: Does this stay non stick with long term use? Many thanks for any help.** A: I’ve used mine a lot and I’m very pleased with its non stick. I always spray with oil top and bottom before using - and while still warm I wipe it all clean with kitchen towel. I’ve used it to cook sausages in also. Just make sure you wipe it clean after every use. Love it. **Q: Removable plates?** A: No removable plates but non stick ceramic wipe clean easy. **Q: Does the marble coated ceramic plates contain any chemicals ?** A: Is ceramic coated cookware healthy? Yes. Primarily because at higher temperatures, the coating won't break down and emits fumes that are bad for the environment and an irritant for humans. At normal cooking temperatures under 500F, they are no more or less healthier than a PTFE (Teflon) coated pan. Is marble coating cookware safe? Most of the time, all you need is a paper towel to wipe off any residue before you can reuse again. Unlike other non-stick cookware coated with teflon, this ceramic marble coating is safe and 10x stronger than teflon coating. ... PTFE and PFOA free, this pan is not only good for you but is also environmentaly safe.
