Not only did the company read my review they reached out to me and offered me a replacement machine and gift card. I have been buying from desertcart for decades and this is the first time I’ve received this level of customer service. I’m excited to open up the updated machine and see how it works. Easy to put together, easy to use and it gives a good workout. The most annoying part though (and I wouldn’t have bought it if I had realized) is it’s a little frustrating it doesn’t give a split time, pace by 500m in meters or a few other key things you normally see on a rowing machine. The pace numbers is in feet/500m and sometimes I'm pretty sure it is just throwing out random numbers for fun. The pace gauge is also extremely wonky. If you take a break, the timer does stop but it takes a while for it to get it back together. It gives you some crazy numbers. You can do the math to do the split time so not the end of the world. The app is free which is nice but these couple of things make it kind of frustrating and hard to track your work out in progress. If you don’t know what any of that means and just want a good piece of exercise equipment. Something that seems durable, easy to put together and not so expensive that you don’t have to worry about your kids around it then I give it 5 stars.
