A: I think it would be fine for 220 pounds, I don’t know what the certification is called. My wife has cancer and this pan is a blessing. She has numerous BMs and urine rounds. The slope is enough to handle this plus the rinsing we do with some angled bidets with washing fluids. Easier insertion under her and less pain than the standard pan. Has held up under constant use now for 3 months. Cleans up easy.
