**Q: Is this jar suitable for brewing, for example Kombucher? Thanks**
A: I used the vintage one for Kombucha, but because it is tapered and wider at the top the scoby pushes out of the tea when the level drops and is prone to infection, so make sure you get one that has a consistent diameter.

**Q: I see below it says the tap is plastic, but the description says it's stainless steel - which is it?**
A: Plastic. It is ok just be aware due to the fact that it has no vent holes and physics the lid needs to be open for the tap to work. This somewhat limits its use (i.e I was going to use it for kids juice at family BBQ and with the lid open wasps climb in)

**Q: Can this be used for warm drinks- specifically, mulled wine at Christmas?**
A: Hi, sorry for the delay in answering your question.  No, the leaflet that came with the drinks dispenser specifically said for cold drinks only.

**Q: Is the tap stainless steele or plastic?**
A: It is plastic but has a silver finish that makes it look like metal.

The item itself looks great and perfect for dispensing drinks at our upcoming party. I took a star off as I was sent a broken jar, in the jar there was a note saying it was being returned as not packaged properly so I was obviously sent a broken return. A pain as no I have to go to the post office to return but I have ordered a replacement so hopefully that one will be intact.
