But I don't intent to carry people. I would expect for SUVs and perhaps older vehicles the straps would work better. The size is perfect for a mid-size to smaller vehicle. It barely covers my rear seat and my car is mid-sized. The scent is interesting. The cover has a heavy petroleum solvent pistachio scent. I like it as it gives you a new car type smell. But mothers with young children or some pet owners may want to air the cover out for a few weeks. I can carry my rifle cases on the rear seat and not worry about scuffs and tears. Plus if I want to impress the cover comes out in seconds. For the money it does what I want. If I want tailored seat covers, they don't make them for my car.
