It only has the green button which is pressed successively to increase in pre-set intervals the time that the socket will output power. 1st press gives 15 mins, 2nd press 30mins, 3rd is 1 hour, 4th 2hrs, 5th is 4 hours and 6th press gives 8 hours. Not only does that waste power but during the long times it stood in standby mode because I kept forgetting to switch it off toner seemed to spread within the printer so that the next batch of pages printed had repeating black marks over the text.This device is extremely easy to use, works well, and switches the printer from being in standby to being completely off. It has totally solved the problem and I reckon it will pay for itself easily.Though it would not fit between adjacent plugs in a socket strip, that was easily solved by using an adaptor or an extension lead.
