Think low end of Pottery Barn as the wood is a less expensive than say a solid walnut, but still stylish. I especially like the brass accents on the foot rest. I just took the seat cushions off to spot clean and was thrilled with how quick and easy it was. That was one of my concerns as they are cream. I simple took a textured dish towel, dampened a corner with water, sprayed a very tiny bit of shout directly on the stain, and lightly rubbed. Every stain I had came right off.
