As it is a relatively cheap item, and as it's at least 3 years old, I never ever thought of looking for a replacement lid, but when I searched mini choppers this came up & I couldn't believe my luck. A new blade is apparently necessary as the lid assembly is slightly different from the original, but that is a plus as it's just like having a new appliance. Or you can order the whole clear plastic bowl with lid and I think chopper blade. This means your motor will still work without replacing the whole chopper. I use mine a lot and it is still working fine **Q: I don't know how old mine is but I only want the blade bit not the lid. In the product description above it implies that I have to buy both. My only niggle is that, since I didn't need a replacement lid, I would have preferred to buy the blade on its own at a lower price.
