What we do is this...test the water before addition on chlorine, as long as it’s between 5-8 ppm then use the spa as normal and do not add any more. Once you have used the spa add 7g or one tablet to the frog and leave in water. You’ll need about 1/2 tablets over 24/36 hours depending on how hot the water is. Always take the frog out when in the spa. The chlorine levels will drop with heat, sunlight and people using the water. If it’s cloudy use flocculant not more chlorine! Hope that helps. You should never add chemical and use the spa, you risk reactions or Burns. The spa I have I run at 3ppm as it’s just for me, my kid had friends over I raise it to 5ppm because there are more people on it. If you over dose the levels remove water and refill with fresh and start again **Q: Do u just pour this in hot tub and leave it to clean pump or do u have to buy out eles with it or does this just work on it’s own** A: I poured it on the stains then tried to scrub off but it didn't work for me. I ended up using diluted bleach with a garden sprayer. **Q: How do you use this? My hot tub is in use and chlorinated. Is this poured into the chlorinated water?** A: Just add the amount calculated on the label straight into the spa (I use a 60ml syringe its easier) and when a weekly dose, did wonders to mine was getting cloudy water due to very hard water and the reaction with Alkalinity. Since using it crystal clear water. **Q: My pool is in use and has limescale, can i use this in addition to multi tablets to remove the limescale?** A: We use it in our hot tub normally once in a while but after we have got out.
